What is Tempo?
Tempo is a desktop IDE from Tempo Labs for designers, product managers, and engineers working in the same codebase. It connects product planning, interface design, issue management, coding agents, pull requests, and CI status in one workspace.
Teams can use agents to convert feedback and bug reports into prioritized issues, write product requirements, create clickable designs from existing components, and implement approved work on separate branches. Humans remain responsible for reviewing decisions and proposed changes. Tempo supports Claude Code and Codex, allowing teams to use their existing agent subscriptions, configurations, and rules.
Key Features
- Code-based design canvas: Designers can create interfaces with the components and design tokens already present in a repository, adjust details manually, and submit the result as a pull request.
- Feedback triage: A triage agent monitors feedback channels and converts reported ideas or problems into structured, prioritized issues.
- Specifications and prototypes: Agents can turn selected issues into product requirement documents and clickable designs linked to the underlying work.
- Parallel coding agents: Multiple agents can work at the same time in separate worktrees and branches, with the relevant issue and design context available to each one.
- Automated implementation: Dedicated agents can investigate reported bugs or build specified features, run tests, and open pull requests for human review.
- Central work tracking: Tempo presents issues, supporting documents, designs, pull requests, and CI status together so different disciplines can follow work from feedback through delivery.
Use Cases
- Convert incoming customer feedback and bug reports into organized engineering issues.
- Build and refine high-fidelity interfaces directly from a product's existing code and design system.
- Prepare requirements and interactive prototypes before implementation begins.
- Run several coding agents across independent branches while tracking their pull requests and CI results.

Enterprise pricing is custom and can include customer-managed infrastructure, custom test volume, audit capabilities, and unlimited history. Prices are listed in USD.
Who Is It For?
Tempo is intended for software teams that want product managers, designers, and engineers to work from one repository-backed environment. It is particularly relevant to teams using AI coding agents while retaining human review over specifications, designs, implementation choices, and pull requests.
